DETOX is the collaboration between composer and non-artist Anton Vasilyev-Zarzhevskiy and musician and experimental theatre maker Maja von Kriegstein.<\/p>\n
Since 2023, Detox has been developing GELDW\u00c4SCHE (Money Laundering) in changing formats and collaborations \u2014 a socio-critical ritual based 98% on despair and 2% on wit. It reflects on one\u2019s own privilege, on money as a medium of alienation, as a medium of domination and injustice. Art, too, is entangled in this dynamic.<\/p>\n
The project is embedded in an attempt to shape shared life in a way that is determined as little as possible by the logic of anonymity and quantifiability. This attempt is not to be understood as a romantic utopia, but rather as a daily practice of recognizing and cultivating a barely definable, multifaceted connectedness with other people and the world.<\/p>\n
In 2025, the choreographed piece BORDERLAND was created, in which the artists engage in a laboratory-like experiment with questions of boundaries and connections, networking, and shared responsibility within a shared space.<\/p>\n
